Return to top.I have been following the Oklahoma Sooners ever since I was about 9 or 10 years old. I have always wanted to play football at OU, but never got a real opportunity to. Even though I did not attend OU, I have continued to watch them. I was at the football games through the dark years of the 1990's. I was there some in the glory days when Barry Switzer was the head coach. I am there now. I a very proud of how the student-athletes perform both on and off the field or court. I also relish in the fact that Oklahoma has one of the best college athletics department in the nation.
I grew up in North Central Oklahoma, the home of Oklahoma State University. No, I didn't grow up in Stillwater, but, about 40 minutes to the north. It was tough to be a Sooner in northern Oklahoma, especially the last 7 years when
OSU has had Oklahoma's number in alsmost every sport. I bleed Crimson and Cream, so it is hard to see OU be down!I ended up going to Southwestern College in Kansas(SC) to play football. SC is a NAIA school. It is a very good school to attend. I enjoyed my time there. I didnt finish at SC because I sustained a re-occuring injury that made it almost impossible to play any longer. I played under a coach named Monte Lewis, a real class act. He also played at SC under a coach named Dennis Franchione. Coach Fran is now the head coach at Texas A&M.
Anyway that is enough about me. Again, I hope you enjoy this web site and if you have any questions or comments email me.
